WWE NXT Finishes Ahead of AEW Grand Slam France in Viewership This Week, AEW Outdraws NXT in Key Demo Ratings
Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston has the ratings and viewership numbers for this week’s head-to-head battle between WWE NXT TV and AEW Grand Slam France. The AEW TV episode aired on Tuesday this week due to the MLB playoffs on Wednesday, once again going up against NXT TV.
Ultimately, NXT outdrew Grand Slam France in overall viewership. However, Grand Slam France came out slightly ahead in the key ratings demographic.
This week’s edition of NXT TV finished with an average 532,000 viewers. Viewership fell from the 670,000 viewers for the Sept. 29 episode of NXT.
Meanwhile, AEW Grand Slam France came up short with an average 495,000 viewers. Last week’s Dynamite, which served as a tribute show for the late Benjamin “PAC” Satterley, averaged 899,000 viewers and a 0.22 rating in the key demo.
In the P18-49 key ratings demographic, NXT drew a 0.10 rating, and AEW drew a slightly higher 0.11 rating. NXT’s rating saw a slight downtick from last week’s show, which averaged a 0.11 rating. Additionally, NXT drew a 0.14 rating in the P25-54 demo, while AEW finished with a 0.15 in the same demo.
AEW and NXT’s last head-to-head battle was on Oct. 7, 2025. For that show, NXT drew 625,000 viewers and a 0.12 rating, while AEW’s program drew 321,000 viewers and a 0.07 key demo rating.
