ESPN Classic to Start Airing Global Wrestling Federation Episodes
Starting on August 5th, ESPN Classic will begin airing episodes of the Global Wrestling Federation. The promotion ran in the early 90s, and the roster included The Patriot, Jerry Lynn, Sean Waltman, Mick Foley, Terry Gordy, Booker T, Stevie Ray, a young Buff Bagwell and more.
ESPN Classic will run a marathon on August 5th and will then continue to air episodes like they do for the UWF and AWA. Like the UWF and AWA, ESPN has the rights to re-broadcast the videos due to their original deal with the promotion.
