April 27, 2016 | Posted by
At the end of last week’s episode of Lucha Underground, a new character named Councilman Delgado debuted. Lorenzo Lamas played the Councilman, you may remember Lamas from the Renegade TV series, which aired 110 episodes from 1992-1997.
Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Lamas became friends with Lucha Underground executive producer Eric Van Wagenen when they worked together on Celebrity Apprentice. The site reports that Lamas didn’t even need to audition for the part, because the people behind Lucha Underground liked the idea of bringing in an actor with some name value to the show.
Lamas is scheduled to appear on Multiple episodes this season.
