Mr. America is announced as being from “Our Nation’s Capital, Washington D.C.” Tazz comments he’s awfully tan for living in Washington. Mr. America has a chair and says that the chair will be payback for Zach Gowens. Yep, the one-legged Tenacious Z. America goes out and talks to Zach as he takes up a front row seat for the match. O’Haire and Piper double team America to start the match. Piper tries to throw America head first into the turnbuckle, but he reverses it and rams Piper eight times, then climbs the turnbuckle and hits him with top rope fists, followed by biting Piper in the face. America appears to have full control, but O’Haire grabs America’s leg as he goes into the rope. America goes to the outside and chokes O’Haire with the weightlifting belt. Piper steals the belt and goes on to whip Mr. America with the belt. Piper argues with the referee, allowing America to recover and steal the belt back, whipping Piper several times. O’Haire interferes again, allowing Piper to lock in a sleeper hold. Big USA chant from the crowd as the sleeper continues. Referee does the arm check, of course after two America powers up and elbows Piper in the gut, however Piper hits a shot knocking America down. America begins to “American Up” doing the usual Hogan routine, fist central, Irish Whip, big boot that misses by a good six inches. America cups the ears and a pissed off Mr. McMahon enters, distracting both the referee and America, allowing Piper to recover and hit a low blow. McMahon give O’Haire a lead pipe, he goes to hit Mr. America but he ducks and it hits Piper! Mr. America hits the leg drop, McMahon goes in to break up the count, but Zach grabs McMahon’s leg tripping him! The three count goes down and Mr. America wins. McMahon is PISSED as Zach Gowens gets in the ring and Hogan has his back. Mr. America and Zach Gowen celebrate in the ring as McMahon leaves. Usual Mr. America posedown as Zach watches on.
