Doctor Who Officially Renewed for Season 12, Jodie Whittaker Set to Return

BBC America confirmed that Jodie Whittaker‘s adventures through time and space are far from over. They have confirmed that Doctor Who was officially picked up for a 12th season and that Jodie Whittaker returns as the Doctor for another season, debuting in 2020.

Additionally, BBC America released a first look at the series’ inaugural New Year’s Day special, airing on Jan. 1, 2019, which you can see below.
