New TV Spots Arrive Online For Hellboy

Lionsgate has debuted two brand new TV spots for their upcoming Hellboy reboot, which opens one month from tomorrow on April 12. The film was directed by Neil Marshall from a script by Andrew Cosby, Christopher Golden and Mike Mignola. It stars David Harbour, Ian McShane, Milla Jovovich, Sasha Lane, Penelope Mitchell and Daniel Dae Kim. The film was recently given an R rating for “strong bloody violence and gore throughout, and language.”

Here’s a synopsis: Hellboy is back, and he’s on fire. From the pages of Mike Mignola’s seminal work, this action packed story sees the legendary half-demon superhero (Harbour) called to the English countryside to battle a trio of rampaging giants. There he discovers The Blood Queen, Nimue (Jovovich), a resurrected ancient sorceress thirsting to avenge a past betrayal. Suddenly caught in a clash between the supernatural and the human, Hellboy is now hell-bent on stopping Nimue without triggering the end of the world.
