It looks like the new Marvel TV series is already breaking records. Disney+ announced this week that the new Marvel Studios original series, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier ranked as the most watched series premiere in the streaming service’s history for the show’s opening weekend (Friday, March 19) through Sunday, March 22.

Additionally, the premiere episode ranked as the most watched title overall for the same time period on a global basis. That includes Disney+ in Hotstar markets.

The premiere episode joins the first Marvel Studios’ live-action series, WandaVision, and the season two premiere of Lucasfilm’s The Mandalorian as the three most-watched original shows on Disney+ opening weekends to-date.

New episodes of the series will be released weekly on Fridays on Disney+. You can check out 411’s official review of the debut episode RIGHT HERE. Here’s a synopsis:

Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson aka The Falcon, and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier. The pair, who came together in the final moments of “Avengers: Endgame,” team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience. Directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman serving as head writer, the six-episode series also stars Daniel Brühl as Zemo, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker.
