As previously reported, this past Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite had the lowest viewership in nearly a year against the NBA Playoffs. It did hold steady in the key 18-49 demographic rating, although it still dropped there as well. The show brought in 833,000 viewers and a 0.32 in 18-49. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has more details on the numbers including a look at each individual quarter hour.

It wasn’t all bad news for Dynamite, as it benefitted from RAW also going against the NBA. It managed to beat RAW and Smackdown in overall 18-34 this week (169,000 for Dynamite compared to RAW’s 158,000 and Smackdown’s 153,000), and men 18-34 (97,000 for Dynamite compared to RAW’s 87,000 and Smackdown’s 79,000). It also beat RAW with women 18-34 (72,000 for Dynamite compared to RAW’s 71,000) but lost to Smackdown in that demo (79,000). Numbers were low for all three shows in men 35-49, where RAW (193,000) and Smackdown (225,000) beat Dynamite. The show pulled a 0.24 rating in 18-34.

AEW beat all but two of the network shows in 18-34, only behind Survivor and The Masked Singer. During its second hour, it was #2 on all TV in 18-34 behind the 76ers vs. Heat NBA playoff game.

That game had 3,425,000 viewers and a 1.15 in 18-49. Meanwhile, the Mavericks vs. Suns game went against the West Coast feed and had 4,171,000 viewers and a 1.47 rating.
