Matt Cardona Comments on John Cena’s Heel Turn: ‘I’m Not Surprised’

– You can now count former WWE Superstar Matt Cardona (formerly Zack Ryder) as those who were not surprised by John Cena turning heel at last night’s WWE Elimination Chamber Toronto. Earlier today, Cardona commented on his former onscreen broski turning heel on social media. He also shared a photo of Cena kissing Eve Torres in front of him in an angle on WWE TV back in 2012. You can view that tweet below.
At last night’s WWE Elimination Chamber Toronto, John Cena won the men’s Chamber match. He subsequently turned on Cody Rhodes, attacking him at the order of The Rock. Cena is now scheduled to face Cody for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41 later in April. The premium live event will be held on April 19-20 at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada. It will be broadcast live on Peacock in the US and stream on Netflix internationally.
