UFC’s Michael Chandler Says Rey Mysterio Is His WWE Dream Match

UFC star Michael Chandler has named Rey Mysterio as his dream match should he ever appear for WWE. The MMA fighter spoke with The Schmo at Fanatics Fest over the past weekend and during the conversation, he was asked about his dream match in WWE and named Mysterio.

“I know it’s a little bit old school, but Rey Mysterio Jr. would be freaking fun,” Chandler said (per Fightful). “I know he’s still getting after it, still has it. But, man, that would be a really, really fun one.”

He continued, “It might be a little bit too acrobatic for me. I don’t want to start with the acrobats right away, but give me a little bit of training. I’ll be doing double back flips off and landing on people. (Would you try to pull his mask off, though?) I would. That would always be the goal. Because, I’m going to be the heel. You know, I would go in there and absolutely F everybody up. I would go out there and I would show my wrestling background, my fighting background is superior to every single one of these guys, and I would go in there and I’d absolutely wreck shop.”

Chandler most recently fought at UFC 314, losing to Paddy Pimblett.
