AEW Collision aired an hour earlier last week, and the rating and total audience both slipped. Saturday night’s episode garnered a 0.03 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 226,000 viewers per Wrestlenomics. Those numbers are down 40% and 8.9% respectively from the September 16th episode’s 0.05 demo rating and 246,000 viewers.

Repeating this information from last week’s NXT ratings news:

There is an important caveat in here to be considered for all wrestling ratings going forward. As reported in early September, Nielsen has changed its ratings system to a “Big Data + Panel” method, which combines the ratings measurement company’s traditional home panel-based data with inputs from devices including cable set-top boxes, satellite receivers, and smart TVs. This means that there has been a divergence in some numbers based on which numbers are being used.

Wrestlenomics has noted that the new method has mostly resulted in lower viewership among wrestling shows and that telecasts with younger-skewing audiences are generally (but not always) seeing lower measurements under the new system. What this all means is that direct comparisons with previous numbers are messy at best, because it’s using a new system. This includes all ratings for shows airing on traditional TV going forward including WWE NXT and Smackdown, and AEW Dynamite & Collision. With all that in mind, take the below comparisons with a grain of salt.

The demo rating was the lowest since an early airing on November 30th, 2024 also did a 0.03, while the audience was the lowest since the August 20th episode had 195,000. As always, these numbers do not include the simulcast on Max.

Collision is averaging a 0.095 demo rating and 363,000 viewers in 2025 compared to a 0.119 and 395,000 for the same time period in 2024.
