The status of the WWE video library once the company’s deal with Peacock expires is a point of discussion, and a new report looks at the possibilities. As noted, some of the library has been showing expiration dates of December 31st. WWE and Peacock’s deal for NXT PLE’s is up in March of 2026, and it was noted that sources expected WWE to continue pushing the content in rolled out manner to YouTube.

The WON has a little more detail on the matter. The newsletter reports that the current discussion in WWE is, as noted, that the older non-WWE video library will be slowly put up on YouTube. Meanwhile, some of the content — namely, the Smackdown and Saturday Night’s Main Event archives — are likely to stay on Peacock. Both Smackdown and SNME are part of WWE’s deal with NBCUniversal that continues well beyond March.

The report notes that Netflix has uploaded older episodes of Raw to Netflix, though it is very incomplete as a library. Once the Peacock deal ends, that could clear the way for older episodes to be made available domestically as well.

WWE has made no public statement about their plans for the old library. Mark Shapiro noted about the deals recently:

“We haven’t gone to market yet on the NXT PLEs, we have a lot on our plate right now and we want to be smart and strategic about that. We’re in no rush. We need to be deliberate and thoughtful. As it relates to the library, we’re working on a non-exclusive deal at the moment. I think we’ll have something to announce in Q1 [2026].”
