Triple H Reportedly Credited for Coming Up With CM Punk-The Usos Segment on WWE RAW

Last week, Alexandra Williams took to social media to announce her promotion as vice president and lead writer for WWE RAW. Dave Meltzer later wrote in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the promotion actually took place earlier this year.

According to Meltzer, the promotion took place in January, with Williams now overseeing the creative direction of Monday Night RAW alongside Ryan Ward and Jonathan Baeckstrom, apart from being the vice president. The trio reports to Ed Koskey, who reports to Bruce Pritchard, who reports to Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

The public revelation led some to credit the brilliant segment between World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and The Usos this past Monday night on RAW to the change in the writing team. Dave Meltzer debunked the notion in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, stating that the creative team has been the same since January and Paul Levesque has been largely credited for coming up with the idea of The Usos confronting CM Punk for involving Roman Reigns’ father in their rivalry.

Following a heated exchange of words, The Usos attacked Punk for disrespecting their family to close out the show. According to Meltzer, this was done to bridge the storyline in Roman’s absence and to generate interest for his return this coming Monday.
