WWE Smackdown Rating Down From Last Week, Audience Rises To Two-Month High

July 21, 2026 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

Last week’s WWE Smackdown saw its demo rating slip a bit, while the total audience was up to an eight-week high point. Friday’s show brought in a 0.21 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 1.243 million viewers per Programming Insider. Those numbers were down 12.5% and up 2.6% respectively from the previous week’s 0.24 demo rating and audience of 1.212 million.

The demo rating was the lowest for the show since the June 12th episode had a 0.20, while the total audience was the best since the May 22nd episode had 1.256 million viewers. The top spot for the night went to 20/20 on ABC with a 0.24 demo rating and 2.945 million viewers. Smackdown tied for second place with Celebrity Jeopardy!, also on ABC with a 0.21/2.364 million.

As a reminder, Nielsen made an adjustment to its Big Data + Panel numbers in late January, and even the original Big Data + Panel ratings makes ratings difficult to compare to pre-change weeks. That said, WWE Smackdown is currently averaging a 0.282 demo rating and 1.223 million viewers in 2026 compared to a 0.431 and 1.489 million for the same time period in 2025.
