Arn Anderson Reflects On Road Schedule From His Era Compared To Now

On the latest episode of his ARN podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson was asked whether he still keeps up with AEW, WWE or any of the weekly wrestling shows. Anderson was blunt about it, and explained how the grind of his own career shaped that answer. You can check out his comments below:

On Whether He Watches Today’s Wrestling:
“Not really. If I’m just sitting home watching wrestling, I shouldn’t have retired.”

On Today’s Wrestling Compared To His Era:
“I can’t stress this enough — and I’m sure everybody that has a podcast from my era would say the same. It’s just unbelievable how much we worked and how much we traveled, and just how difficult the business was. If you sat down and wrote down what you did every day and then gave that to somebody and said, ‘Okay, here’s a day in our life,’ what do you think? I wish I could get a list of the mileage of say, 1986 and just scroll it in front of people for them to really realize it.”

On Wever Going to WCCW:
“I think that was the time that Crockett was so hot, wasn’t it? I wasn’t going anywhere.”
