AJ Lee Says She Wants Bayley To Be Her Last Match, CM Punk & More Follow Suit

AJ Lee named Bayley as the person she would want her last match with, only to be echoed by CM Punk, Lash Legend, Danhausen and more. Lee, Punk, Legend, Danhausen, Rey Mysterio and Mr. Iguana were on a panel at San Diego Comic Con on Thursday, and during the discussion the group were asked who they would want the final matches of their respective careers to be against.

Lee answered first and said, “I’m gonna say Bayley because I love her.”

Punk then followed up with, I’m gonna say Bayley because my wife is in love with her.”

Danhausen, Legend and Mysterio all then went along with the joke, naming Bayley before Mr. Iguana said, “I think it’ll be Rey.” Danhausen the replied in mock anger, “You know what? You get out of here, you ruined it!”

Bayley’s WWE contract is reportedly up by the end of the year, and she appears to have been written off TV for the moment after losing to Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event. It is not yet known when she will return to WWE television.
