Aubrey Edwards On Her Work In AEW Games, ‘May Or May Not’ Be Working On Other Stuff There
Aubrey Edwards works in the games division of the company of AEW, and she recently said she “may or may not” have some other stuff in the works. The AEW referee spoke with Casual Conversations with The Classic and during the conversation, she was asked if another console game after AEW: Fight Forever was planned.
“I currently have two video games out on the App Store, AEW: Rise to the Top and AEW: Figure Fighters, so you can download those both now on Android and Apple devices,” Edwards said (per Fightful). “I actually did not work on Fight Forever. So I can’t really comment on that at all. There was a team working on that, and they basically said, ‘Hey, we’ve got this whole mobile division. Can you kind of take care of that?’ So I was working on Elite General Manager as that game was kind of coming together, and then I moved into Rise to the Top, I moved into Figure Fighters, and then I may or may not be working on other stuff.”
She continued, “But I’ve been very busy with the AEW games side of things during the entire time that Fight Forever was sort in the public space and whatnot, just kind of over here in the corner by myself. It’s like, ‘Yeah, you guys handle that. I’m just gonna go play over here, and we’re just gonna keep releasing all of these awesome games.'”
Edwards worked in the video game industry before coming into AEW and was lead producer for Scribblenauts Unlimited.
