As we previously reported, CM Punk teased a possible fight at UFC 225, which takes place in Chicago. Punk is 0-1 in MMA, losing to Mickey Gall at UFC 203 in September 2016. Now MMA Fighting reports that the UFC is talking about a fight between Punk and Mike Jackson, who is also 0-1.

The event happens on June 9 at the United Center. It would air on PPV after preliminary fights on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. Talks are still in the early stages for Punk vs. Jackson, and a final decision has not been made. After his loss to Gall, Punk kept training at Roufusport in Milwaukee and expressed interest in another fight. Jackson, who lost to Gall in February 2016, has campaigned to face Punk, using social media to take shots at the former wrestler. Punk is a huge local draw in Chicago, but it remains to be seen if he’ll actually make the card.
