Conor McGregor Out of UFC 303 After Training Injury

Conor McGregor is out of this month’s UFC 303 after suffering an injury in training. Dana White announced on Thursday that McGregor was out of his fight with Michael Chandler due to the injury. White noted that new main event will see Alex Pereira put the UFC lightweight heavyweight title on the line against Jiri Prochazka.
The injury derails McGregor’s comeback, which would have been his first fight in the Octagon since July of 2021 when he fought at UFC 264 and suffered a broken leg. Details on McGregor’s injury were not disclosed.
