Evan Dunham Says Ambulance Bill Issue Has Been Resolved Ahead of UFC Fight Night 137
Evan Dunham spoke with MMAjunkie ahead of his retirement fight against Francisco Trinaldo at UFC Fight Night 137. Highlights are below:
On the UFC covering his ambulance bill after he complained publicly: “Everything’s good. The moral of the story is, close mouths don’t get fed. So if you’re not the squeaky wheel, you don’t get the oil. I was squeaky, and I got my oil, so I’m good.”
On being hounded by collection agents over the bills: “To be honest, it’s not the UFC. We all know there’s a lot of different things in place, and different departments, so it was an oversight on their part. It’s not a big deal. I don’t hold any grudge on it, but I didn’t want it to affect me long term. So I had to make it known, and it got taken care of. I’m not mad about it at all.”
