James Vick Replacing Al Iaquinta At UFC Fight Night 135

MMA Junkie reports that James Vick will replace Al Iaquinta in the lightweight main event against Justin Gaethje at UFC fight Night 135. Iaquinta previously said that he would not fight Gaethje at the event but didn’t say why.

He said at the time: “The only comment I have is that you will have to ask Justin if the fight is happening or not. I’m glad I’m not in a position here where I have to take fights under any condition like these other guys.”

The event happens on August 25 at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. It airs on FS1 after preliminary fights on UFC Fight Pass. Here’s the card so far:
