Kate Jackson on Her Bellator 200 Win

Kate Jackson spoke to reporters in a media scrum after her win over Anastaia Yankova at Bellator 200 (via MMAjunkie). Below are some highlights.

Her thoughts on Anastasia Yankova: “She’s super tough, she’s got good striking, but I’m far more experienced and she just hasn’t fought anyone like me yet. It was highly unlikely that she was going to beat me. So, it’s nice to derail the hype train.”

Her thoughts on the fight: “She was super tough, she kept moving and did what she needed to do to stay in the fight. I think maybe another 10, 20 seconds in the third round, with he position I had … I would have finished her. But I didn’t get there early enough. My jiu-jitsu worked.”

Kate Jackson on what’s next for her: “There’s some big fights, I think, coming up next month possibly coming up in the division. So I guess it depends how they go, really. I’d like one of the women who are fighting, it think four of them, that are fighting on the next card. I wouldn’t mind one of those.”
