Patricky Freire and Michael Chandler Trade Shots On Twitter
Patricky Freire and Michael Chandler kicked up their bad blood in a series of messages on Twitter. Friere took to the social media site to take a shot at Chandler over his loss to Breet Primus last year at Bellator NYC, which Chandler attributed to an injury that kept him from continuing the fight. While Primus and Chandler have tried to face off since, the Bellator 197 fight was cancelled due to an injury to Primus and the fight looks like it might be rescheduled.
In response to Primus challenging Chandler again, Friere posted to Twitter decrying the “Chandler bulls**t show” and had some negative thoughts about Chandler’s previous performance against Primus. That drew a response from Chandler, to which Friere fired back:
It's the Chandler bullshit show again. How long is the division gonna be hostage? Funny thing people dismiss the loss to Primus even knowing now it was a result of the kick, but praise Chandler for the Girtz finish that came after a freak injury. And Girtz was outstriking him. https://t.co/YrOochFajp

It feels so good to be training hard and making gains…can’t wait for a formidable opponent to step up so I can go out and put on a show for you guys again! #wherearethey

Excuses and more excuses. You put this front, but you’re afraid of losing to Primus again and terrified by the idea of losing to me. That’s why you want someone else. Play games all you want, but I’ll make you have to fight me and give you the beating of a lifetime. https://t.co/ccigJrO8Mb
