Marc Guggenheim has a wishlist for the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths Arrowverse crossover, and it includes a Smallville character. Marc Guggenheim spoke at The CW’s TCA summer press tour presentation per SHH) and said that he wants to see the classic DC series into the fold for the crossover.

“It’s such a big part of DC TV history,” Guggenheim said. “I would love to have at least one Smallville character in the crossover. I guess I can say every single day I have some conversation with some casting director or some agent. There’s such a big, wide tapestry of DC TV and DC movie properties – the whole reason we started talking about the crossover as early as we did this year was to give us time to have all those conversations.”

Guggenheim did note one person they won’t be able to bring in in Lynda Carter. Carter played the president in Supergirl, but while the producers wanted her to reprise her iconic role of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, “I had conversations with DC and Warner Bros. and based on those conversations, I don’t think it’s going to be able to happen.”

The crossover will run on the following schedule:

Supergirl: December 8th at 8/7c (special time)
Batwoman: December 9th at 8 pm (special day)
The Flash: December 10th at 8 pm
Arrow: January 14th, 2020 at 8 pm (special time)
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: January 14th, 2020 at 9 pm (special episode)
