Most triumphant! With Wonder Woman 1984 moving from August 14 to October 2, William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan are doing a little time-traveling of their own. Deadline reports that the long-awaited Bill and Ted Face the Music, which had been set to arrive on August 21, has been moved up a week and will now debut on the date Wonder Woman left behind.
The film was directed by Dean Parisot from a script by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon. It stars Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter, William Sadler, Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving.
Here’s a synopsis: The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William ‘Bill’ S. Preston Esq. (Winter) and Theodore ‘Ted’ Logan (Reeves). Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends — to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.
