Bill Murray Would Appear In the New Ghostbusters If Asked

Bill Murray says that if Jason Reitman wants him to, he will be happy to appear in the new Ghostbusters. Murray spoke with Indiewire about the upcoming film, which Reitman is directing and will kickstart the franchise by continuing off the original film. Murray said he is open to the idea of appearing in the new film.

“I did [the 2016 remake] and I would do this next one,” Murray said. “This franchise paid for my son’s college. We made this thing. We are the caretakers of it. It’s a great thing and it was a really fun movie to make. It’s a real movie with some really funny stuff in it.”

The film will star Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, and Carrie Coon as the family at the center of the film and is set for release on July 10th, 2020.
