Blumhouse Working On New My Bloody Valentine Movie

Harry Warden is set to return from the dead, as Bloody Disgusting reports that Blumhouse is actively working on a new movie in the My Bloody Valentine series. The last entry was the 3D remake in 2009.

The remake, and the original 1981 movie, both follow a killer in a miner outfit that may or may not be the ghost of Harry Warden, a deranged murderer from years before. His weapon of choice is usually a pickaxe.

The 2009 remake was directed by Patrick Lussier and starred Jensen Ackles and Jamie King. It ended up earning $100.7 million at the box office on a $14 million budget. In spite of the success and the tease of a sequel, it never happened.
