Brie Larson Surprises Fans at Captain Marvel Screening

That Captain Marvel was a hit at the box office this weekend wasn’t a shock, but some fans did get a surprise in the form of Brie Larson. As NJ.com notes, Larson appeared at a screening of the film on Saturday in Clifton, New Jersey in a track suit modelled after her character’s uniform. You can see video and pics below via Marvel and the Captain Marvel Twitter account.
“I just heard that I was on the cups and popcorn and I wanted to see for myself,” Larson said when she entered. She added, “Thank you so much for coming. You guys are awesome to come out, like, opening weekend.”
The film dominated the box office this weekend with a $153 million domestic take.
