Collider reports that Charles Dance (Game of Thrones), Rhys Ifans (The Amazing Spider-Man) and Daniel Bruhl (Captain America: Civil War) are all in talks to join the cast of the upcoming prequel to the Kingsman trilogy. Matthew Vaughn, who directed the first two films in the series, is reportedly looking for “great actors” instead of major names this time around.

The prequel will be the third film in the franchise but won’t be labeled Kingsman 3 as it will not include Taron Egerton as Eggsy. It stars Harris Dickinson as Conrad, described as a “cocky yet charming young hero who’s eager to serve his country and fight in World War I.” The film also stars Ralph Fiennes and begins filming this January in London. It’s described as a period drama that follows “the man who would be Kingsman.” Ifans would play a “dangerous and manipulative Russian mystic,” while Bruhl and Dance’s roles are being kept secret. Matthew Goode is also being considered for a role but that has not been confirmed.

Vaughn is also developing the proper third film with Harry Hart and Eggsy that would conclude their relationship. He expects to shoot that movie in mid-2019 after a break between the films. He is also working on a Kingsman TV series and a Statesman film based on the American version introduced in The Golden Circle. The prequel arrives in theaters on November 9, 2019.
