Chris Hardwick To Return As Host of NBC’s The Wall
TVLine reports that Chris Hardwick is set to return as the host of season three of NBC’s game show The Wall, not long after being reinstated as the host of AMC’s Talking Dead.
Hardwick was accused last month of emotional and sexual abuse by his ex-girlfriend Chloe Dykstra. AMC investigated the claims and then decided that Hardwick would be able to return to Talking Dead and Talking With Chris Hardwick.
AMC said in a statement: “We take these matters very seriously, and given the information available to us after a very careful review, including interviews with numerous individuals, we believe returning Chris to work is the appropriate step.”
Hardwick will return to NBC before that, as he’ll be a guest judge on America’s Got Talent on August 7. When the allegations against Hardwick were first made, NBC said they would “assess the situation and take appropriate action based on the outcome.” Production on the third season, which will include twenty episodes, begins in the fall.
