Dave Bautista, Jason Momoa Teaming For Action-Comedy The Wrecking Crew

Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa are officially set to co-star in a new action comedy called The Wrecking Crew. Deadline reports that the two actors are set to star in the film from Blue Beetle director Ángel Manuel Soto, which is described as a “buddy action comedy” set up at MGM.

The film was written by Jonathan Tropper (Warrior), with Deadline reporting that both stars were in talks for the film long before the SAG-AFTRA strike. Similarly, Tropper’s deal closed and his script was submitted before the WGA strike began.

Plot details for the film are under wraps. Bautista and Momoa sold the pitch to MGM after a bidding war between four parties.
