Dave Bautista Joins Cast Of Adaptation of George RR Martin’s In The Lost Lands

Deadline reports that Dave Bautista and Milla Jovovich have joined the cast of the adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s In the Lost Lands. The film will be directed by Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil, Monster Hunter), who also wrote the script. Anderson will produce with Jeremy Bolt, Jovovich, Dave Bautista, Jonathan Meisner and Constantin Werner.

Here’s a synopsis: A queen, desperate to obtain the gift of shape shifting, who makes a daring play: she hires the sorceress Gray Alys (Jovovich), a woman as feared as she is powerful. Sent to the ghostly wilderness of the ‘Lost Lands’, Alys and her guide, the drifter Boyce (Bautista), must outwit and outfight man and demon in a fable that explores the nature of good and evil, debt and fulfillment, love and loss.

A version of the film had previously been announced back in 2015, with Jovovich, but Werner was set to direct that time.
