Disney Pushes Back MCU Films Starting With Captain America: Brave New World

Disney is making some changes to the schedule of upcoming MCU films, delaying releases starting with Captain America: Brave New World. As noted, the studio announced some release date shifts that included pushing the Avatar sequels back and scheduling a new Alien film. The announcements also included shifts to the MCU starting with Brave New World, which is moving back two months.
One film is moving forward in Deadpool 3, which is bumping up eight months to May 3rd, 2024.
Several of the films had already been anticipated to move due to delays caused by the WGA strike. Blade’s start date was delayed in May, as had Thunderbolts. You can see the updated schedule below:
* Captain America: Brave New World delayed from May 3rd, 2024 to July 26th, 2024
* Thunderbolts delayed from July 6th, 2024 to December 20th, 2024
* Blade delayed from September 6th, 2024 to February 14th, 2026
* Untitled Deadpool movie bumped up from November 8th, 2024 to May 3rd, 2024
* Fantastic Four delayed from February 14th, 2026 to May 2nd, 2026
* Avengers: The Kang Dynasty delayed from May 2nd, 2025 to May 1st, 2026
* Avengers: Secret Wars delayed from May 1st, 2026 to May 7th, 2027
