The Boys returns for its fourth season this week, and creator Eric Kripke says he does have an (eventual) ending in mind. The show makes its return on June 13th on Prime Video and is already renewed for a fifth season. Kripke, who created the series (based on the Garth Ennis comic) and serves as showrunner, spoke with SFX Magazine and said he doesn’t have any thoughts on how many seasons the show will go.

“I am – without hyperbole – literally the worst person in history at predicting how long their show should go,” Kripke said. “No one in the entire history of the entertainment business has been more wrong than me, giving interview after interview on how I thought Supernatural should end after five years.”

He continued, “So I would be crazy to speculate on how many seasons any show should go. I’m not going to make that same mistake again. But, yes, I do have an ending in mind.”

Supernatural ended up running 15 seasons on The WB and The CW.
