Evan Rachel Wood & Gina Rodriguez to Star in New Heist Film

Evan Rachel Wood and Gina Rodriguez are set to star in a new heist film from filmmaker Miranda July. THR reports that the Westworld and Jane the Virgin stars are joining Richard Jenkins and Debra Winger in the still-untitled film, which will begin shooting in May.

The film centers on a woman named Old Dolio (Wood) whose life is turned upside down when her parents, amateur con artists, invite an outsider to join their biggest heist yet. Jenkins and Winger will playh the shady parents who are confronted by the mistakes of their poor parenting, while Rodriguez will play the woman who learns the family’s secrets and is brought into the fold.

Annapurna Pictures and Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment will work together on the film, with Youree Henley serving as a producer.
