First Poster Debuts For Happy Death Day 2U

Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions have revealed the first poster for the sequel Happy Death Day 2U. The film was directed by Christopher Landon from a script he wrote with Scott Lobdell. It stars Jessica Rothe, Israel Broussard, Ruby Modine, Rachel Matthews, Charles Aitken, Jason Bayle, Phi Vu and Donna Duplantier. Jason Blum will produce with Angela Mancuso, John Baldecchi and Samson Mucke executive producing. The film debuts on February 14, 2019.

Here’s a synopsis: Jessica Rothe leads the returning cast of Happy Death Day 2U, the follow-up to Blumhouse’s (Split, Get Out, The Purge series) surprise 2017 smash hit of riveting, repeating twists and comic turns. This time, our hero Tree (Rothe) discovers that dying over and over was surprisingly easier than the dangers that lie ahead.
