First Trailer For Marvel’s Thunderbolts* Warns ‘Be Careful Who You Assemble’

The antiheroes of the MCU have come together in the first trailer for Marvel’s Thunderbolts*. Marvel Studios released the first trailer on Monday for the team-up film, which hints at plenty of action and betrayals to come. You you can check it out below.

The trailer brings Yelena Belova, Red Guardian, Bucky Barnes, John Walker, Taskmaster, and Ghost into each other’s orbit for an unlikely team-up. We also meet Bob, who is believed (though not officially confirmed) to be the ultra-powerful Sentry, and get a look at Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ return as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine.

The film is directed by Jake Schreier from a script by Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Calo. It releases on May 5th, 2025 and stars Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Geraldine Viswanathan, Lewis Pullman, and Olga Kurylenko.
