HBO Max is there for you, as they’ve officially landed a deal for a Friends cast reunion special. Courteney Cox took to her Instagram account to confirm that HBO Max has signed all six main cast members for the unscripted reunion special that will celebrate the iconic 1990s and 2000s sitcom. Variety reports that all six stars will pick up a payday of at least $2.5 million for the special.

The reunion special has long been in the works, with rumors of it happening ramping up last fall. Variety reeports that the special will take place on the original Friends soundstage and will be avaiable at HBO Max at launch along with all 236 episodes of the TV series.

Friends has remained incredibly popular in the years since it went off the air in 2004, and during its run on Netflix it was among the service’s most-watched shows.

“Guess you could call this the one where they all got back together — we are reuniting with David, Jennifer, Courteney, Matt, Lisa, and Matthew for an HBO Max special that will be programmed alongside the entire Friends library,” said Kevin Reilly, who serves as the CCO at HBO Max as well as the president of TBS, TNT, and truTV. “I became aware of Friends when it was in the very early stages of development and then had the opportunity to work on the series many years later and have delighted in seeing it catch on with viewers generation after generation. It taps into an era when friends – and audiences – gathered together in real time and we think this reunion special will capture that spirit, uniting original and new fans.”
