Harvey Weinstein is already in jail, but he has another trial on the way and that includes a new charge of sexual battery. TMZ reports that the disgraced Hollywood executive is facing a new charge that was filed today by the L.A. County District Attorney’s office.

The new count stems from an incident that allegedly went down in May 2010 at a hotel in Beverly Hills. According to the report, the alleged victim was first interviewed about it in October of 2019 and provided detectives with information last month confirming that it didn’t fall outside the statute of limitations.

The new charge adds to four felony counts that Weinstein is facing in Los Angeles: one of forcible rape, one of forcible oral copulation, one of sexual penetration by use of force, and one of sexual battery by restraint. Weinstein faces a total of up to 29 years in prison if convicted on all counts.

Weinstein is currently set to be temporarily transferred to Los Angeles from New York, in which is is serving a 23-year sentence for being convicted on other sexual assault charges.
