HBO Max is digging into its back catalog for another unscripted reunion special, this time for The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Deadline reports that the streaming service is putting together a reunion special, similar to their delayed plans for a Friends reunion, featuring much of the 1990s sitcom’s cast.

The special will reunite Will Smith, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell, Daphne Maxwell Reid, Alfonso Ribeiro, and DJ Jazzy Jeff and will be directed by Marcell Raboy, with Rikki Hughes showrunning and executive producing. This is the latest Fresh Prince development, coming on the heels of Smith and Westbrook Media announcing a dramatic reboot of the series titled just Bel Air.

Obviously, there’s one cast member who will be left behind: Janet Hubert-Whitten, who has famously had issues with the cast — particularly Smith — since her exit from the series. She has claimed that Smith had her fired from the show and claims Smith has had her blackballed from getting work in the years since, which he has denied.
