James Wan Confirms Classic Cameo in Aquaman (SPOILERS)

Aquaman director James Wan confirmed a cameo during an interview with IGN, stating that during the “Ring of Fire” sequence, where Arthur Curry must face his half-brother Orm in gladiatorial combat for the throne of Atlantis. Wan confirmed that the octopus playing the drums in that scene is none other than Topo, Aquaman’s sidekick in the Silver Age comics and later a member of the Super-Pets.
