Kathryn Newton Joins Cast Of Ready Or Not Sequel

Kathryn Newton is reteaming with Radio Silence to join the cast of the upcoming Ready Or Not sequel. Deadline reports that Newton, who co-starred in Radio Silence’s Abigail last year, has signed onto a role in the sequel to the 2019 horror hit.

Newtorn joins the returning Samara Weaving in the sequel, with the collective’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett directing from a script by original Ready Or Not writers Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy.

The first film followed Weaving as Grace, a woman marrying into the wealthy Le Domas family, owners of a successful game company. On their wedding night, the family insists they play their traditional post-wedding game which turns out to be hide & seek — with lethal consequences on the line for Grace. It grossed $57.6 million worldwide against a $6 million budget.

No release date is set for the new film, nor have plot details been revealed.
