IT: Chapter Two looks to be a hefty horror film, with one claim coming in that the initial test screening cut came in at almost three hours. ComicBook.com reports that a fan who says they attended a test screening said that the film was “almost three hours long. Pretty good but it needs work – the first is better. And that’s all I’m saying lest WB sue me into an early grave.”

Obviously, take this report with a bit of salt. The person making the claim is anonymous, though there’s nothing wild or overly detailed like we often see when people try to fake claims about films. The film almost certainly won’t come in that long by the final cut, as initial cuts are always longer. It: Chapter One came in at 135 minutes, to the sequel will likely come in between that and the alleged three-hour initial cut.

The film opens on September 6th and stars James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Andy Bean, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, and Bill Skarsgard.
