Lord of the Rings: War Of the Rohirrim To Arrive On Digital Tomorrow
Lord of the Rings: War Of the Rohirrim is getting a fast track to home viewing, with a digital release set for tomorrow. Warner Bros. announced that the animated Lord of the Rings film will arrive on VOD and digital on December 27th, just two weeks after its theatrical release date.
The digital release comes after it disappointed at the box office, opening to $4.6 million. It has grossed a total of $7.9 million domestically and $15.8 million worldwide against a reported $30 million budget.
The film is directed by Kenji Kamiyama from a screenplay by Jeffrey Addiss, Will Matthews, Phoebe Gittins & Arty Papageorgiou. It stars the voices of Brian Cox, Gaia Wise, Luke Pasqualino, and Miranda Otto and is described as follows:
