Los Angeles DA Won’t Prosecute Agent That Groped Terry Crews

Back in November of last year, Terry Crews filed a police report against Hollywood agent Adam Venit over claims that Venit groped him at a Hollywood event in 2016. He has also filed a civil lawsuit, and he’ll have to rely on that for justice as TMZ reports that the criminal case against Venit has been rejected.

The Los Angeles DA has no plans to prosecute the William Morris Endeavor agent because of the statute of limitations. The incident happened in 2016 and the time limitation for a misdemeanor is one year. The DA rejected a felony filing because Venit did not make skin-on-skin contact with Crews’ genitals when he grabbed his crotch. He also didn’t restrain Crews when he grabbed him. So according to the City Attorney, the incident wasn’t elevated to the level of a felony.
