Manny Jacinto Joins Top Gun Sequel

The Good Place co-star Manny Jacinto has joined the cast of the upcoming Top Gun sequel. Deadline reports that Jacinto, who is also starring in Bad Times at the El Royale, will play a pilot named Fritz in the film.

Jacinto joins a cast that includes Tom Cruise, Jennifer Connelly, Val Kilmer, Ed Harris, Jon Hamm, Monica Barbaro, Miles Teller, and Glen Powell. The film is reportedly set in a world of drone technology and fifth generation fighters along with exploring the end of the era of dogfighting.

Joseph Kosinski will direct the film, which opens on June 26th, 2020.
