Naomi Scott Tries To Survive the Curse In New Smile 2 Trailer

A new trailer for Smile 2 sees Naomi Scott’s lead character trying to survive the attentions of the franchise’s creepy curse. Paramount Pictures released the new trailer on Monday for the horror sequel, and you can check it out below.

The trailer reveals a bit more of the story as Scott’s pop star Skye Riley catches the curse from an old high school friend and thereafter sees the series’ demonically-smiling apparitions. Learning that no one survives more than a week afterward, Skye must figure out how to get free from the entity’s hold — even if it might mean her death.

The film opens on October 18th and sees Parker Finn return as writer and director. It stars Scott, Rosemarie DeWitt, Lukas Gage, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Peter Jacobson, Ray Nicholson, Dylan Gelula, Raúl Castillo and Kyle Gallner The synopsis reads:
