Netflix Reveals First Still Of Jenna Ortega In Wednesday Season 2
The second season of Wednesday arrives next year, and Netflix has released the first still of Jenna Ortega in a signature expression as the titular character. Netflix released the photo on…ah, Wednesday to celebrate the end of the season’s production. You can check it out below.
“This season, Wednesday’s journey is darker and more complex as she navigates family, friends, new mysteries, and old adversaries, propelling her headlong into another year at Nevermore,” showrunners and executive producers Al Gough and Miles Millar told Netflix’s Tudum fan site
Ortega will be joined in the second season by the returning Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene), Georgie Farmer (Ajax), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo (Deputy Ritchie Santiago), as well as Jamie McShane (Sheriff Donovan Galpin) and Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester) as guest stars. New cast members include Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor.
Filming on the second season took place in Ireland. The show is Netflix’s most popular English-language series to date with 252 million views.
