Norman Reedus Joins Cast Of John Wick Spinoff Ballerina

Norman Reedus is heading from the zombie apocalypse to a world of hitmen, with the Walking Dead actor joining the cast of John Wick spinoff Ballerina. Lionsgate announced on Tuesday that they’ve closed a deal for for Reedus to star opposite Ana de Armas in the film, which is currently in production.
Len Wiseman is directing the film, which is set in the John Wick universe. It was written by Shay Hatten, with Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Chad Stahelski producing. Brady Fujikawa and Chelsea Kujawa are overseeing the project for Lionsgate.
Lee said: “We’re huge fans of Norman, and we’re confident that the fans will be just as excited as we are that he’s joining the Wick universe. He’ll make an incredible addition to Ballerina.”
Keanu Reeves and Ian McShane are reportedly set to return to their roles from the main John Wick movies for the spinoff. Lance Reddick is confirmed to be returning as Charon, the concierge at the Continental Hotel in New York, and Angelica Huston will return as the Director from John Wick: Chapter 3. Catalina Sandino Moreno will also star.
