Coming Soon reports that Paramount Pictures has removed the sixth film in the Transformers franchise from their release schedule. The film was originally set to arrive on June 28, 2019. It’s believed that the plans for the Bumblebee spin-off have changed the direction to the franchise.

Meanwhile, other films on the schedule have been given new release dates. The Elton John biopic Rocketman, which will star Taron Egerton, will be released on May 17, 2019. It will open against John Wick: Chapter 3, A Dog’s Journey and The Sun Is Also A Star. The film will be directed by Dexter Fletcher from a script by Lee Hall. Matthew Vaughn will produce through Marv Films along with John and Rocket Pictures partner David Furnish. Production begins this summer.

The latest adaptation of Stephen King’s Pet Sematary has been moved from April 19, 2019 to April 5. It is directed by Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kolsch from a script by Jeff Buhler. It stars Jason Clarke and John Lithgow.

Finally, the Tiffany Haddish movie Limited Partners has taken the old release date for Transformers 6, June 28, 2019.
